Yesterday was the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards in London, a high profile event in the care sector calendar that celebrates new care home developments in the UK in the past year.

We are very proud to announce that a third of all of the finalists nominated are customers of Adaptive IT and users of the CLB Acoustic Monitoring solution! Our customers were also nominated in 5 out of the 6 available award categories!

The Pinders Healthcare Design Awards seek to acknowledge the contribution made by designers, architects, and the owners of care homes, retirement housing and other care schemes to the wellbeing and quality of life for those in their care.

Whilst architectural standards and innovation are key factors, the overriding test for any project has to be the degree to which it has recognised the needs and desires of the service-users and incorporated these into the final design.

The awards also recognise the important contribution made by the owners of all types of care facility – irrespective of size, budget or category of care.   The judges look to reward quality of care achieved through good design, rather than design alone.

We want to give huge congratulations to all of our customers involved as being a finalist is an incredible achievement – we would like to give an extra special “Well Done!” to Majesticare who were winners in their category!

The impressive projects we were involved with are as follows –

BEST NEW CARE HOME – ELDERLY (Higher Development Budget)

WINNERS! – Majesticare – Cavendish Park.

FINALIST – Caring Homes – Horsell Lodge.

BEST NEW CARE HOME – ELDERLY (Medium Development Budget)

FINALIST – Baycroft – Fairfield.

FINALIST – Halebourne Care Group – Chantry Ct.

This is the 3rd year running that Adaptive/CLB customers have won awards at this event as Majesticare’s, Fernhill House won in 2018 and St Monica’s, TCQ won in 2019.
