Network Infrastructure
London Science Museum
The Brief
The Museum is a major attraction on Exhibition Rd in South Kensington in London. It was founded in 1857 and hosts 3.3 million visitors annually.
There was a requirement to install data network additions into a newly refurbished Gallery area.
Adaptive IT's Solution
We installed a number of Brandrex Cat6 Plus data outlets throughout the area as required.
The outlets would facilitate network connection for various devices including new CCTV cameras that had been installed as part of the project.
The proximity of the general public meant that strict working procedures had to be adhered to with an element of the works having to be undertaken out of hours.
It is always a pleasure to work on projects at prestigious premises and the London Science Museum is no exception. The architecture of grand old buildings can be a challenge as they were not built with structured cabling in mind, but it is a test we passed with flying colours. We look forward to being given the opportunity to work here and in similar environments in the future.
