The Brief

Jesus College was founded in 1571 by Queen Elizabeth the First and is part of the University of Oxford.

Reception staff needed to track Visitors and Contractors on site more efficiently and be able to identify them clearly. The current process involved a hard copy signing-in book and the site were looking for alternative options available.

Adaptive IT's Solution

After an initial site survey and demonstration to key stakeholders the market leading InVentry Digital Visitor Management system was selected to be supplied.

A wall mounted InVentry touchscreen and wireless thermal credential printer were installed in to the reception area and Visitors would need to agree to Health & Safety and Safeguarding terms and conditions before being allowed onsite.

Visitors were now clearly identifiable by their date stamped badge which included their photograph, name, level of clearance, details of who they were there to visit and even their car registration number.

In the event of an emergency a manifest report could be generated immediately that listed all Visitors and Contractors onsite that needed to be accounted for.
